Since 2003, the team at Musick Roofing has been working in the Lakeland community and all around central Florida to give our customers beautiful roofs and functional homes. We started out as a construction company that focused on remodels and additions and gradually moved into the roofing industry over the past few years.
President
Mike has been married to his wife Niki for over 25 years. They have three great children, Parker, Remington, and Britain (and two wonderful daughter-in-law’s, Akshaya and Rachel). Mike enjoys coaching Track & Field and Cross Country. When they’re not working, Mike and Niki love to travel and spend time with their family.

Steve Straub has been married to his beautiful wife, Trisha, for 21 years and they have three amazing children, Malachi, KJ and Cael. He enjoys
spending time with his family, watching Miami Dolphins football, running, and weightlifting. When not at home or work, Steve is probably at one of his kids’ sporting events! The most important thing to Steve is his faith. He wants to be known as somebody who puts other people’s needs above his and to love like Jesus loves.

Mary has lived in Lakeland since 2001 with her husband, Jason, and their 3 daughters. When Mary is not working, she enjoys reading and spending time traveling with her family and their new pup.

Madison manages all the Musick Roofing social media pages and is excited to tell the stories of our team and company. During her free time, her and her husband, Raul, serve as Missions Coordinators at their church in Lakeland. You’ll often find Madison traveling on the weekends, spending time with her family, or exploring outdoors.
Permitting
Sandra moved to Florida from Pennsylvania with her husband and 4 children in August of 1978. She loves spending time with her 12 grandchildren and 2 great grand kids. In her spare time, Sandra loves to read and play board games.
Office Pup
Georgia Mae has many responsibilities at the Musick Roofing office. She greets all our visitors – first with a bark and then with kisses, she monitors all the snacking, works hard lifting our spirits when the day gets stressful and gets us outside for extra breaks with a quick game of fetch. When Georgia Mae is not at work, she enjoys hunting lizards and frogs, stealing anything she can find to play chase and, of course, running and swimming are her favorite pastimes. Come on by to visit her anytime!

The second child of Mike Musick finds joy in traversing the globe
alongside his beautiful wife. The pair welcomed their first child, a precious daughter in January 2025. Along with his adventures, he channels his passion for coaching pole vault at Lakeland Christian School.

Ben Johnson is transitioning from a successful career in IT to sales in the roofing industry. With a diverse background that includes roles in education, program management, and IT administration, he brings strong problem-solving and communication skills to his new venture. Passionate about innovation and continuous learning, Ben is excited to apply his expertise in a new field.

Zac is a Sales Consultant for Musick Roofing. He was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida and after four years of serving in the Marine Corps, Zac has moved back and is currently working on a degree in construction management.

Kyle comes from a successful career in power tool sales, where he built a strong foundation in relationship-building, problem-solving, and results-driven performance. His professional background reflects a commitment to hard work, consistency, and putting people first. Outside of work, Kyle enjoys traveling and creating meaningful experiences with his wife, Jordan. A passionate sports enthusiast, he has a background in Collegiate football as both a player and coach, experiences that have shaped his leadership style and team-first mindset. His faith plays a central role in his life, guiding his values, work ethic, and dedication to serving others with integrity and purpose. Kyle looks forward to bringing his competitive drive, leadership experience, and people-focused approach into this next chapter.

JJ has a background in business and running his own company, which taught him the value of hard work, honesty, and strong customer relationships. He is married with 3 kids, and family is the center of everything he does. When he’s not working, you’ll usually find him at the volleyball court supporting his daughter’s team. He also enjoys meeting new people and building genuine connections through conversation.

Sarah was coached by Mr. Musick while running track and cross country in high school. She now attends East Tennessee State University and is majoring in Sports Management. She is a huge help to us over the summer with filing, answering phones, researching and so much more.

Maddie was coached by Mr. Musick while running track in high school. She now attends Western Carolina University and is majoring in Sports Management. Maddie and Sarah have been friends since pre-school and laugh the whole time they are working hard.
